Ways We Help Rebuild Children's Lives
The following are the 4 categories we help in
Self-esteem building / self-confidence
When a child has healthy self-esteem, they feel good about themselves and value themselves more. The more negative comments children hear, the more likely they are to internalize them, believe them, and act accordingly. Kids with healthy self-esteem are likely to be more productive adults.
Self-confidence is the child’s attitude about their capabilities and skills. It comes from knowledge and practice; therefore, the more experience they have, the more confident they become. It’s about trusting themselves and their abilities to achieve goals. Often successful experiences are the result of self-confidence.
