From Victim to Bully: My Regretful High School Journey

Tactic. W Story

My story is that growing up I was a very introverted person, so I got introduced to the world of high school, and I must say my first year was way amazing.

Then I did my other four grades at a new high school where I experienced bullying in my first year. In class, I couldn’t cope well. I sometimes thought of suicide. I tried reaching out to my teachers, but I started losing hope and feeling like they were doing less in order to solve the matter, so I decided to solve this issue myself.

I got into cyberbullying, where I created a fake account and bullied back the kids who bullied me. It turned from a small case into a quarrel where the police got involved, but everything disappeared out of nowhere.

Just a few weeks ago, the police came to our school to address the cyberbullying issue, and when I heard that if the case would’ve continued, I would be behind bars right now before completing matric. I really regretted myself and learned that doing bad by bad is not good.
